What services do you offer?
I provide live violin music for each part of your wedding day, including prelude, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception moments. Every booking is fully customized, so whether you’re looking for a romantic ceremony soundtrack or a high-energy cocktail hour experience, we’ll shape the music to fit your vision seamlessly.
I also offer additional services such as microphone support, DJ & emcee coverage, and curated collaborations with other musicians.
Does Jonathan take song requests?
Yes, absolutely. You can choose songs from my repertoire list, which I’ll send
before your event. I’m also happy to learn up to three new songs, just share the
titles or YouTube links, and I’ll make sure they sound perfect for your special day.
Does Jonathan carry insurance?
Yes, I carry full liability insurance and can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI)
upon request. Most luxury venues require this, so I always make sure it’s available
and up to date.
What is your performance style like?
My performance style is designed to feel both elevated and immersive. I perform instrumental covers of all styles of music - including: classical, modern, R&B, pop, and country songs—blended in a way that feels natural and cohesive with your atmosphere.
During cocktail hour and reception settings, I perform wirelessly, allowing me to move throughout the space, interact with guests, and create a more intimate, engaging experience.
Music is always continuous—no gaps, no awkward pauses—just a seamless flow from beginning to end.
Do you provide sound equipment?
Yes. I provide a professional sound system to ensure clear, full coverage of your space.
For larger or luxury events I offer a full sound setup with up to four speakers for an elegant surround experience.
I can also provide wireless microphones for your officiant, vows, or speeches depending on your needs. Just let me know what you’re envisioning, and I’ll make sure everything is covered.
Do you travel?
Yes—I’m based in Nashville but available for travel nationwide and internationally. Travel is quoted based on location, travel time & additional logistics. I’m happy to make the process as easy as possible and come to perform for your event!
How long will you play?
For each portion you book, I’ll perform for the full duration needed—not a strict cutoff time. The goal is for the music to feel natural and uninterrupted, so everything flows exactly as it should.
What does the planning process look like?
I keep things simple and collaborative.
We’ll connect early on to align on your vision, and as your timeline and details come together, I’ll guide you through song selections and key moments. I also coordinate directly with planners and vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is structured by wedding portions rather than hourly rates, which allows for a more tailored and intentional experience.
Each portion (ceremony, cocktail hour, etc.) is designed to flow naturally without strict time pressure. From there, we can customize coverage based on what your day needs. For a detailed quote, I’m always happy to connect and build something specific to you.
When do you arrive on the wedding day?
I always arrive early to fully set up and soundcheck, so everything is ready to go well before guests arrive. From that point on, you don’t have to think about the music at all—it’s handled.
Do you work with other musicians?
I do. I frequently collaborate with saxophonists, pianists, cellists, harpists, and additional violinists, and can be booked as a duo or ensemble depending on the feel you’re going for.
If you’re envisioning something unique, I’m always open to building a custom musical experience.
Can you also DJ or emcee?
Yes—DJ and emcee services are available as an add-on. This is a great option if you’re looking for a seamless, all-in-one music experience that carries consistently throughout your day.

Does Jonathan offer payment plans?
Yes. I usually ask for a 50% deposit to confirm the date, and the remaining balance
can be paid up to one month before the event. I accept multiple payment methods
for your convenience.
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings and larger events, I recommend booking six to twelve months in
advance, as popular dates fill up quickly. However, I often have availability for last-
minute bookings, so it’s always worth reaching out.
